Originally posted by Mr Johnson Kudos to everyone that was able to come to the meet. It was great putting faces to names and even meeting from out of state to meeting someone on the next block from where I live  and never knew. BTW: Overclockers drive counts for some serious dedication! Shame on all you local folk that didn't come.
Special thanks to Tyler. It's really nice to see interest in us from a corporate level to the point of having a journalist cover our little get-together. I'd be remiss if I didn't thank you for the goodies (like the nice white Lexus hat I'm modeling) that you were kind enough to bring.
Finally we need to work a little harder in making and distributing flyers, involving dealers to get the word out and bonding with our is300.net brethren so that we can have a community meet that deserves the attention of all the dealers and Lexus corporate.
Nice pics lexcoupe and thanks for getting these up. I'd love to see any pictures of HIN(which I couldn't make) or any pictures you've got to add Overclocker.
I agree on the IS300.net guys. They should join us. So far it's Tyler and Mac that stop by the meets. But where is everyone else? Considering we pretty much just started hanging out together and doing the meets. I am sure we'll get more people with every time we meet up. Now, If you want some connections where you can get good prices on aftermarket parts, I can direct you to the right place.
sorry I couldn't make it to this event.. family obligations got in the way..
Maybe next time? looks like I'd be the only sc430 there as of right now..
Anyway, what about having the next meet closer to Chicago? For example, the forest preserve off Harms and Golf in Glenview (VERY easy to get to from Chicago off I-94 Old ORchard exit)?!?
I just got back from my trip to Florida and I have some pics of both the BBQ and HIN. My BBQ pics are mostly the same as Kevin's, execpt for a nice shot of Mr Johnson's intercooler.
My question is, should I post the HIN pic's here or start a new thread?
