Does this really work? $4 for a $25 gift certificate seems too good to be true.

 

Yes it really does work. Check the fine print though about restrictions. Also, many of the restaurants, at least in my neck of the woods, are so-so quality. I did find a few of my regular spots on there, scored some great deals.

 

+1. There are few that arent so hot, but in Philly I'm shocked to see that there's plenty restaurants participating that are good!! Great deal and good eats!!

 

Yeah but Striped Bass on Walnut Street isn't on the list. 3 of us ate there one night and left with a bill of a couple grand, mostly wine. We were ordering bottles and barely put a dent in the bottle before ordering another. We got a little too drunk to realize what kind of money we were spending but heck it was a business trip so we expensed it. I wouldn't mind doing that all over again.

 

haha, well thats why. There wine list is quite extensive and they have some great stuff. Food is pretty good though. But Im not surprised to not see this on the list. Some places like its exclusivity.

But I would really love to see Morimoto's on that list. The restaurant owned by that guy from Iron Chef. The food is rediculously expensive!!
