FS: Apple MacBook Pro 15in.
MacBook Pro model: MA896LL/A
it is a 15inch, 2.4GHz intel core 2 duo, 2GB, 256MB VRAM, 160GB 5400rpm.
This is too much of a computer for me. i got it as a Graduation present. so i am going to sell it and buy something less expensive and maybe spend the rest on my car
or just save it 
Price is $2,250 BRAND NEW IN BOX. price is pretty firm. i know the reg price is $2,499 but you would need to pay for tax which will bring the grand total to $2712. and even if you do find a discount (student discount) the price i am selling it for is still a good price.
i would prefer local sale becuase i dont want to deal with shipping and paypal.
Let me know if your interested. and any other comments are welcome.
as for pictures. its still BRAND NEW in box. so if you're interested we can meet up and you can take a look at the unit.

The problem is buying from the apple store has many perks, especially if you have issues. Paying the same amount for one "off the street" is the issue.
This book does not have extended applecare so if it gets home and has one of the many issues the MPB has that have been reported, no extended APPLECARE = you're screwed. This item is a risk and will have to be priced appropriately.
Other than that, it's a helluva book. It's your priority on how you use your grad present, but if I spent $2500 of my hard earned money and you gave it away I'd beat your butt. LOLOLOL

I also thought you can purchase applecare up to one year after the computers been registered. Guess the rules have changed in the past 3 years since i last owned one.
