They replace the headlamp wedge bulbs. The are a very nice match to the HID. Check out the light section under GS lights to get more info.

Yes they are platinum super white. They look awesome with the HID's. You can get more info on them in the lights forum section under the GS lights sticky. Unfortunately 00lexusdubs has already pmed me about them.
