What's up everyone, After I fill up and tuen on the a/c I smell fuel. I also smell fuel sometimes when I drive. It's not a very heavy smell but it still smells. The car has few a codes that popped up which all have to do with the evap system. Does anyone know how to fix this or can you guys recommend someone cheap to do it.

This needs to be posted in the GS section in Maintenance portion. You might have a couple issues related towards the evap lines having holes in them or some other component might have damage or a crack in it. That is where the gas vapors are most likely coming out of. Where is the area that you live? What are the codes P0440 ,p0441 etc?

 

Thanks Sho. I figured I would ask the locals 1st. I got codes p0440, p0441 and p0446.

Yeah those are emissions codes. Clear it and see if it comes back. Check your gas cap seal to see if it is cracked cause that could be a issue. That or our lines are cracked. Have you found out anything since then?

 

Thanks for checking up Sholexman. I haven't figured it out yet, I've been on a streak of bad luck since then lol.
I'm hoping to figure it out soon though, the light is just annoying me.
