Greetings to all members! We have organized a meet/greet picnic for members to attend on July 25th from 11:00am-3:00pm? The picnic will be at Riverside Park in Oviedo. I have on tap a vendor who would cook and serve the food, to allow us to talk shop and enjoy ourselves. We have used this vendor in the past (Bar B Que Boyz) and I must say it was well worth the cost and would free up members from doing the chores. As with anything in life, this comes with an associated cost for the vendor/reservation of the pavillion. To help with the cost of these services, we are asking members to contribute $10.00? This cost would allow each paid member to eat a hamburger/hotdog/baked beans/soda and chips at that price.

This is a rain or shine event!!

Wanted to start a confirmation list of members looking to attend? There is already a South Florida thread started for the caravan for this picnic. All local and surrounding Lexus/Supra owners are welcome to attend! Let's make this a great event! I'm looking forward to meeting new faces and old friends as well! Orlando members want to treat you to a great time while you visit us, so come on out and let's have a good showing! There is a possible cruise planned to Downtown Disney parking lot for a group photo shoot afterwards, weather permitting?

No open containers are allowed in the park area, so use discreation (Cups), if you choose to partake in beverages?

I'm in. I'm hoping we can get that possible cruise over to Downtown Disney to really happen and maybe have someone video the cars. I think it would be one of the largest Lexus caravans ever caught on tape and the photoshoot afterwards would be epic.

Looking forward to this event and should be another great time with both old and new friends.

Reg, what other meat would you suggest? If you want something other than what's already on the proposed menu, it will cost more or you can bring and cook your own? There are grills available, I just didn't want to bother with cooking? We may throw in some ribs?

Count me in Wringo. Trying to get a few other CL members to caravan down from NW FLA.. We would be driving down on Sat. and need directions. Are their any decent hotels nearby?

There are numerous hotels along N. Alafaya Trail in East Orlando near UCF that would be safe and budget friendly!

Unfortunately Reg, that may not be possible? Part of the hold up from the park was with them bringing in the large grille to cook the food and the park said No! At the moment we are planning to prepare the food offsite and bring it in to the picnic cooked! The park wanted them to have $1M dollars worth of liability insurance as a vendor to bring it into the park. We'll get around that and just use the grilles there to keep everything warm or cook yourself if, your willing to do that? Sorry!
