As some of you know I spent last weekend in 40F and rain in Baltimore tuning a few KL powered Ford Probes running Megasquirt units I've built over the years....figured I would share the results.

Novi 1000 Supercharged




The guy who flew me up there...installed a complete DIS ignition (converting from distributor), bigger injectors and first tune on the built motor.

All in all he put down 290whp @ 14psi on a mustang dyno and then his rear turbo seal took a dump Not to shabby for a small t3/t4 turbo on a 2.5L.

Tuned 4 different cars with vastly different setups for power. Everything from that centrifugal s/c to an M62 roots, to na to turbo...

Then this happened..... That was his first time spraying the 125 shot....out came those jets and back went the 50 shot! Nitrous backfire...he got really lucky the only casualy was the intake elbow.

That explosion looked liked Richards NOS explosion at the Mile run two weeks ago...

Yah man....there was snow a few miles north of us. I really need to get to work on the megasquirt stuff....:-/ No time as of late. Don't worry jon....I'll "hook" you up when the time comes.

As soon as the holidays are over I"ll start pulling the motor/trans out for a wire tuck and send the car off to curtis for some much needed R&R.
