Single exhaust has less weight. Sc300 isn't a true dual exhaust anyways because it's an inline6 motor. 400 has 2 headers and 2 downpipes so a dual exhaust is more suitable. Dual exhaust on a 300 is more for looks than performance. That's why I didn't mind the 2.5" dual muffler inlets because it's not a true dual exhaust. It's just a split at the y-pipe.
I wouldve gone with a single but the 5zigen is my favorite exhaust on the SC.

Since the 5zigen is 2.5" I would rather have it dual because a single 2.5" would be too small. Since mine splits it should have at least the same flow as a single 3" piping. V motors get the real benefit of dual exhausts.
I'm not trying to argue with you lol. I'm just saying the main reason single exhausts are used is weight savings and performance. Dual exhausts on inline motors are mostly for looks and actually quiet down the car too.

Hey not trying to defend my boy Wicked .But I also am not a fan of single exhaust on an SC.But how ever to each his own Do what you do and just be you....
Nate there are a lot people out there that don't like what I do but ultimately F them..lol

John, its all good bro..we all are different, im not taking it as a diss..its all gravy wit me, im pretty sure ima be back with the duals..LoL but i jus wanted to try sumthing new..the exhaust was sitting in my garage for a min so i said u kno what, time to spend alil money...

John, its all good bro..we all are different, im not taking it as a dis..its all gravy wit me, im pretty sure ima be back with the duals..LoL but i jus wanted to try sumthing new..the exhaust was sitting in my garage for a min so i said u kno what time to spend alil money...
