Ive been without a car for three weeks and just got my 98 Lexus Gs400 about a month ago and love it. Long story short was doing favor for friends dad who was out of a job and paid him $300 to install timing belt. He couldnt do it, so I went to lexus and found out my valves were bent and was furious. Lexus even charged me $300 to put on timing belt even thought it needs to be taken off to get to the head. Now my car wont start and I am looking for a great shop that is inexpensive or someone that can put it back together. I got a quote from napa to fix the valves for $375 and gasket kits run about $350 but I dont know how to take apart the head. I would really appreciate some help.
