Hey guys, my power steering hose has been leaking for sometime now and I'm not really in the mood to pay $500 to replace it. Are there any swappers that have their GE still around that I may be able to buy a hose off of and even pay someone to switch it out for me? I mean, at $500 for a hose I might as well swap the motor right? In due time...

 

hey Tek, chino just had his repaired by Amazon hose off of i think princeton? he would know better. regardless, they replaced the hose part, and used all his fittings. i think it was only like $50 or 60. im sure he will chime in.

 

Really? That's not too bad. Is it wise to just get it repaired though? I assume it has a bunch of hairline cracks from heat and age. I mean, it does beat $500 if I'm considering a swap anyway. Chino?

 

dont worry about the cracks, they replaced the whole rubber part. they only use the metal fittings and metal hose. chino said its $50 to have his replaced.
