This is a strange one

Volkswagen Pauses Some ID.4 Sales: Doors May Open While Driving

Volkswagen Group has reportedly alerted its dealers across the US and Canada to pause from selling its ID.4 fully electric SUV. The automaker says the doors on some of the electric crossovers could potentially open while the vehicle is moving slowly. There's not yet a solution for the issue.
What the heck lol. No I won't apologize for laughing, hope no one gets hurt.

I hope everyone able to pull this off and more competitive in price. My eyes bleeding when seeing someone paid over 100k for a pick up truck.

At least they have a steering wheel to hold on to vs a passenger, although that may end up being worse the car veers into a tree as you try and keep from falling out.

You know what really bothers me? Doors that are only electronically operated that is going to get people killed. All auto makers are moving to this design and I hate it there should always be a manual override both inside and outside the car.

Nope. Tesla uses a button to open the door. Unless there is a manual lever I don't know about, in my brother in laws Model 3 the door open button is on the inside door handle

There is a manual lever it is disguised as part of the window controls

Wow. That’s a big discount. Demand is further softening.

I'm hoping in the summer they make another cut on the Model Y 's, although I doubt it as they are currently all sold out this quarter. Cutting would potentially lead to cancelling and reordering for the lower price. I know I would do it

Model Y just got a price cut too! Also if you have a Tesla on order and the price goes down, you automatically get the lower price as long as you haven't taken delivery yet. If you have a Tesla on order and the price goes up before you take delivery, you're locked into your original lower price
