Tesla business discussion
Well they hinted at the 2, the "new model", but zero specifics. Just how it would be assembled, near fully automated assembly. I had joked earlier in the thread - Musk may make the customers assemble their own cars. Just ship the car in kit form.
The stock is going to ride back down after this, no doubt about that, how close it will retrench to the 108 level - we shall see. It sounds like Tesla needs another full year to sort out the Model2 - still, they are way ahead of everyone else, even with needing another year. They can coast for a year on the 3 and Y refreshes, and the cybertruck deliveries.

Tesla is a high tech company full of engineers and nerds. What did you expect? My disappointment is they kept talking about a "major" announcement, which I've yet to hear what it is
This fiasco will cost TSLA at least $100 billion in market cap. Train wreck joke of a presentation we got no clear vision articulated. Total lack of leadership, this is a slap in the face to investors.
I expected a clear, concise vision put forward. Markets agree TSLA is down 6.5% in after hours and diving.

Said it before, and I'll say it again - Musk is an absolutely appalling presenter. Will always be his achilles heel. No prep went into this, as he's too busy trying to polish the 44bn turd he didn't need to buy.
TSLA might drop a bit after this, but it will rebound. The market knows the Tesla vision is big, bold and broad. The market reaction IMO is just as much about telling Musk he really needs to disengage from Twitter as much it was about the weak presentation.
