Tesla business discussion
Yes their stock has exploded in recent years but it's not going to experience this type of growth again. Competition picking up, new energy sources like hydrogen gaining steam, Musk resting on his laurels to an extent and his focus elsewhere, etc.
Competition: Tesla is in the EV market, but more so it is in the vehicle market. And is in rapid growth mode. Tesla's EV competition is scrambling to catch up and is failing. Can you name any other company that makes a profit on EVs?
Hydrogen: Do you have any idea what it costs to refine and deliver hydrogen? Is there any infrastructure to do so? Heck, at least Tesla builds its own charging network. And by starting to share is propping up every other EV venture, making them at least viable.
Well, let's look at your assumptions...

As for hydrogen, Bit posted an interesting article about hydrogen and if it's a viable source going forward. Forward as in 10-20 years or more.
How is hydrogen gaining steam?
I decided Model Y because of more room. I sat in my friends and it's more spacious than the M3, and has much better cargo room if you put down the rear seats. Also more spacious back seats, it would be great as the family trip car. I'm going to be living with it for the next 10 years, I would rather have some more room. In a nutshell, I changed my mind....
Nothing really concrete about details, but here is a report/rumor for the Model Y. I think the Model 3 is supposed get the update first and I think I've seen pictures of some disguised ones floating around the internet.

Rivian looks good right now for nice bump if you have $$$ thats collecting dust.
I would be a little nervous about Rivian, but the price is definitely tempting....
