Yeah GM for sure, it was a joint live announcement with Barra and Musk.

Fast and reliable charging infrastructure is the last piece for non Tesla EV's reaching mass adoption. This is good news for the industry as a whole, as people who want a BEV other than a Tesla will now have reliable access to fast charging. As I mentioned in my Model Y thread, my daughter travelled over 1000 miles during a busy three day holiday weekend and had no issues accessing fast charging. She did run into one bad charger, but there were so many that she was able to just move on to another one

Hyundai to consider joining Tesla's North American charging standard alliance

CEO of Loooooocid Mowtors throws shade on Tesla's network says the plug is just plastic and copper nothing special, network needs to be 1000 volt. Ideally yes and will be eventually Tesla's V4 charger is 1000 volt capable. I don't know how this clown still has a job.

All the more reason to adopt NACS what is he thinking? Dude your company has issues selling the cars you produce which is hardly any you need every possible advantage.

 

Regarding this post, our Operations Manager actually sent a request to Tesla after I forwarded it to a few people (including our CFO) as a half joke. Here's the response from Tesla:




So we might be getting Tesla chargers soon at the office!

 

Wow that would ideal for you.

 

To be honest, I would probably rarely use them as I charge at home. But there are at least 3 employees with Tesla's that have long commutes and live in rentals, so don't charge at home. This would benefit them
