What does the "premium" experience mean? Coffee/Expresso shop, restaurant etc?
Food and restrooms (not necessarily Mercedes' own, mind you), covered charging areas where possible, video security surveillance, and a station layout that provides space all around the vehicle to accommodate different charger port locations.
I'd like to see some charge port standardization. Either put it on the rear driver's side or the front passenger side. As long as it's at one of those locations, chargers should be able to reach without having an overly long cable.

Why that Tesla driver is using an EA charger is beyond me. Also he (or she) didn't have to park like that, unless the spot in front of the charger is blocked. In this case you would back in. I think they are just trying to create a social media moment

Why spend the money on a Tesla AWD if you never use it.
They're just showing off. Lol
I can see this pic being used as an example for the need on standardization.
If you drive a Tesla, there's not need for standardization...just go to a Tesla charger! The Tesla chargers are designed perfectly for Tesla's. You just back in and plug in. The only time I've ever seen Tesla's go to a non Tesla charging station is it's a rental and the driver doesn't know, but even that is rare

The way the photo is cropped, I can only assume the driver was towing something and didn't want to unhitch whatever they had. Either that or they stomped on the accelerator and figured they'd charge while waiting for a tow lol
I've heard ya'll mention the Highland but didn't know it was a Tesla offering.
What makes it special vs the standard model and do you think it will sell?
The Highland Project is the Model 3 refresh. One would have to believe it will sell. It is one reason you are seeing current Model 3 discounting; customers like me are waiting on the Highland.
Musk idilizes Henry Ford for his innovation and continuous improvement process. Ford built his Highland Park, Michigan plant to build cars on a mfg line. That made autos affordible for the everyman and changed the world by putting us on wheels.
Musk named the Model 3 refresh project after the Highland Park plant. You may want to read about Ford's genius investment.
