Bring the pain for stock holders, down over 10% in after hours was down ~10% on the day. I got lucky and got out when I did, was this close to not clicking the sell button amazing how such a small action or inaction can have huge financial implications.
The other side of the coin is that with these stocks they go up disproportionately when even only moderately good news is out there. You have to accept there are going to be big swings in all directions with stocks like these.

5X swing is not normal even for a volatile tech stock.

I went to the 1st ever Denver Rivian open-house on Saturday, was really cool, toured the facility, talked to a lot of reps, went on a quick test-driver as a passenger, no R1S' but employees there said those who pre-ordered should start to see them in May 2022

Probably been asked before, this truck looks relatively small in pics. Is it compared to the big 3 behemoths? The packaging is neat and unique they could sell boatloads of these if production was capable.

Smaller compared to our full size GMC for sure. My buddy brought his by a few weeks ago.

Plenty big inside, but overall and payload room is more on the midsize smaller truck side

Rode in it, didn’t drive. It was still a bit snowy and icy out.

A buddy of mine went to work for them just before the IPO and he got one of the launch editions through purchase program. Still a beta version truck

The TRX could use a tune to fix that, they can make 1k on stock hardware easy.

I bet. They had a nitrous one on Drag Times that was pretty quick. That Plaid X gapped everyone though...so funny. The Hummer doesn't look that impressive but if you knew it weighed 9k lbs, its actually mind-boggling. The most impressive car there was that old Cyclone...did not expect that

That Hummer is unreal heavy, like to the point it really makes you question the design for what it offers. The old turbo engines are insane, mod them a little and you will keep up with stuff you never thought possible. Then throw an LS in it.....

The hellcat SUVs and the truck are downright stupid, they have no right holding even and beating what they do and it's via brute force lol! The Jeeps are in the 2.0 or less 0-60 range now

Down in SF today and had my friend drive me around in his R1T. I must say the interior is dramatically better than the Hummer EV I turned down. It's very tightly put together with great interior materials for the most part. All of the little space utilization tricks are cool but the drive is just astounding. I only took it for a brief highway loop but this is just an easy car to live with. I will say the touch screen lagged a bit at times and I love the absence of physical controls but you get used to it. At the previous price point this truck was a no brainer and at these inflated prices I'd still say it's worth consideration.

Electrical system is downright bizarre.
