Did Tesla change how the vent system works on the Model 3 refresh? In my Y I can point the airflow anywhere and as far as I know every Tesla is the same. Likely the same mechanism.

Keep in mind Motor Trend claims you have to touch the wheel every few seconds when using FSD this has not been true for over a year, they outright lied about this so what else are they lying about.

How many seconds is it because when I rented one last year it wasn’t every few seconds per say. I want to say every 28 seconds (can’t remember if that was my PHEV or Tesla) or maybe longer but definitely wasn’t a full min. I could be wrong.

FSD (NOT standard autopilot these are very different) requires no touching of the wheel unless you intervene.

FSD requires no touching of the steering wheel. I had it 6 months and used it regularly

Seems like it’s been updated since I used it last November. Worked fairly well for us. Had few hiccups here and there but I’m sure it’s been addressed with its update.

It's a completely different experience since November. I totally 100 percent trust it now. I subscribe to it when I go on trips. It drives better and safer than 99 percent of drivers on the road. Even safely makes it's way around slow drivers and objects

FSD hasn't been updated is something like 7 months, but current version is still excellent. Next step is version 14 this is likely what Robotaxi is running currently. It's almost like MT regurgitated talking points from 2 years ago there is no way they actually used FSD.

Here is a typical v13 drive. It only gets better from here.

Where are you getting that from? They didn't make that claim in this article.

you’re not disappointing me but comment probably not helpful.

Stop with the facts!

He may be thinking of this year old 3rd party test in a MT article. Even though it doesn't actually state anything about seconds, but miles.

According to testing firm AMCI, Tesla’s FSD software can’t drive more than 13 miles without needing intervention

I have the same Y as you (except mine is 2021) which I've owned for almost 3 years and I have 0 issues with the AC. Something is different on the vent design in the new Y. I did a 24 hour test drive and despite playing with the vent settings and positioning for much longer than I'd care to admit, could not get it to blow air on my face. Incredibly strange.
