So my 2c is that some if not much of it is just because they are better EVs, but some if not much of it is also about the sales approach. Tesla makes it very easy to buy or lease, and everyone who buys a Tesla at the same time pays the same as anyone else buying the same vehicle. Customers like that. The legacy dealership model is often the polar opposite.
People like easy, myself included.
Nobody wants to fight or play games when trying to do business.

I personally think they are better especially in the appliance segment, but that's just my opinion. But the last part is definitely true. Teslas buying process is hassle free
Did they add ground clearance just to give the Toyota a win on something?
Rivian would win that hands down
Speaking of Rivian, my brother in laws wife who has an RT1 for almost two years was complaining how harsh the ride is, especially when they hit the hilly roads (they live in Los Altos Hills). Turns out, she had the suspension set on sports mode and at its lowest stance since owning the truck 🤣A quick change to comfort mode fixed the issue. It was an "Oh crap moment" for sure
I get that. I've probably owned the most EV'S out of anyone on this forum (2020 Hyundai Ioniq, 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5, 2023 2022 Polestar 2, 2023 Model Y and 2024 Model 3)
reminder, time to take the ioniq off your sig.

Sounds like she was enjoying the truck With all of the suspension tuning they've done, I've found moderate suspension in All Purpose to be a great combo of ride and comfort.

I believe that's what we set it to. It was absolutely hilarious. Imagine driving a car for almost two years with overdrive off and wondering why it was so loud
