And Silverados can have significant discounts (-10k) depending on which models. Keep in mind though, EVs depreciate badly (hence why I leased it). Using these #s, you can get a $0 down/driveoff, 800 month lease for 24 months readily. Will be cheaper if you go for lower model trims.

Seems like a lot of truck for a relatively modest lease price.

I like air suspensions regardless of who makes the vehicle.

I appreciate the thread and anecdotes of your experience. I’m skeptical of anything GM after being raised to expect a monthly buttfucking from GM products as “normal” and designed to keep me poor before I discovered Japan built cars.

I would love to buy Cybertruck. But it is so polarizing and generates terrible emotions from outrage-addicted fools that I can’t do it . My lowly model 3 already attracts the seemingly worst of people. I know a few people with lightenings and they are happy except for dealers playing games. But I think that GM is making a serious attempt at a viable EV truck platform. (And I still think that when GM is allows its engineers to make a great car, that they can pull it off like the vette). But couldn’t take the risk myself. I like to play it safe with items with high transaction costs.

My daughter owns a 2023 Chevy Bolt Euv and loves it. Only criticism I have of it is it doesn't have a frunk, and has a stupid start/stop button. Completely unnecessary for an EV

@ST430 We should get together for lunch next week so I can check out your truck! Looking forward to taking it for a spin. I'll try to drive so you don't have to change the tires 🤣

Default Adios..

Decided to let go of my Silverado EV after 9 months, since I don't use it much anymore after getting the Hummer..here's my final assessment on it:

tL;DR Awesome truck that does actual truck things and happens to be an EV!😁

Good - Smooth quiet daily driver, awesome range, easy towing, and great Android Auto integration

Bad - not much besides the fact that there was very limited aftermarket support, so I had to DIY a few things (fog lights, etc)

Ugly - only the entry price was a bit ugly (90k)..

Would definitely get again if I needed a truck

I think your Hummer can fill the gap well.

Doesn't have an open bed like the pickup for hauling but it's big enough to put a big box inside if needed, maybe.

Unfortunately most of the hummers trunk is for the batteries so it's pretty small cargo capacity. I might switch out to a hummer Truck now lol...
