I apologize the link is not clear. I was fortunate enough to be able to read from the magazine itself. I was born the same year as the article. Found it to be a good read. Different technologies that existed much longer ago than I would have thought. Hopefully someone or more does as well.

The engine of multiple fuels (potentially) and iirc, the 40s Packard with a/c I found to be quite interesting.
And yea, for very early 80s to have a nav system... it's like, how long were cell phones mobile? Not the ones plugged into or hardwired into automobiles. OH, the Jetsons(sp?) cartoon was based on RL on this remote island that lives light years ahead of everybody else...
