Rivian is using the tried and true trick of showing the base price and showing the upper specs at the same time implying the base model has all of that.

If Rivian can ramp up to R2 to a few hundred thousand per year by 2027, look out Model Y.

Tesla needs some stiff competition. Rooting for Rivian to give it to them 👍

Unique. Has an 80's/90's silhouette with modern cues. Not sure whether I like it or not

R1 has to reduce COGS by $92,500 to break even. Let's split that and say R2D2 needs to find $46,250 in savings to break even. If I was a potential investor first thing I'd want to know is how they plan on doing it. COGS for the R1 actually went up the last 2 quarters.

But let's be real no one wants to hear about any of that just good vibes and fuzzy feelings about the Tesla killer.

I like 90% of it, still not a fan of the Rivian headlights, but other than that they're some of the better looking EV's on the market.

Go to tesla business thread with this crap, nobody needs you pimping tesla stock in this thread.

If you wanted to know, most their talk to journalists was about cost savings.

By the time this damn thing comes out - R3X - i might as well be interested.

As long as they dont save too much money compared to R3 on inferior.

Fiat Ritmo style in 2027.

Only disappointing thing so far is old school battery charging for 2030. 30m 10-80% is normal today.

But everything side looks great
. Hopefully has air suspension.

Plenty of discussion involving other EVs in the Tesla business thread. Rivian is not in a vacuum just like Tesla, and did you see this?

Well Model Y is at the top. Why would the Bz4x need to look out?

Lol. You know I only mentioned that because it's become a common theme for you to be making negative posts about any other EVs in their threads. Figured you would take the bait and reply to it...so said so done.

Before I enter any new model EV that is non Tesla, I make a bet with myself that you have already posted or will post something negative. My win loss record is crazy 🤣.

That plus we've already talked about why loss per car went up in Q4 - Amazon paused deliveries in Q4 to focus on the holiday rush. Q2 shutdown will allow Rivian to streamline production and produce the same 57K vehicles on 2 shifts instead of 3 on top of other cost savings
