That Ford site is loading very slooooooooooow.

On revenue for Tesla they have never given any guidance on how much revenue not even ballpark.

Tesla membership even at the higher cost is a much more attractive package. EA is pretty much garbage in terms of # of chargers, # of locations, and down machines

There’s a lot of capacity out there, and a lot of new revenue for Tesla.
Oh, it gets full around holiday travel. The good thing though is that there are so many Tesla chargers along hwy 5 and 99 that you'll always get a charger. Also if you time it correctly, you should be fine

Yep. In 2022 I travelled about 5 or 6 times between NorCal and SoCal in my Polestar, and it was a crapshoot getting an available charger when hitting the Bakersfield EA which is 30 miles before the Grapevine. Worse when you get to SoCal, where my brother lives there are only two EA locations near his house, both overcrowded all times of the day or night

You would only need to do that if you want the Tesla member rate.

If you pay by plug and charge you will pay the non member rate but you won’t have to do anything other than plug in. That’s the OTA update rolling out now. With plug and charge it should be essentially identical to the default Tesla experience.

I personally welcome all those with Mach-E's, Lightnings and other vehicle's to come and charge next to me . Tesla charging stations are pretty dead, people just keep to themselves, but when I used to charge my Polestar at EA, people would come up to me to ask questions. My wife would get a kick out of everyone just walking up to each other and swapping stories

It depends on time of day and electricity rates in a particular area. I've paid as little as .33 cents per kwh to .48 cents. I believe they have to have a membership that costs $12.99 a month (Tesla owners there's no membership). It's well worth it if you fast charge regularly

if you're talking rate per kWh, it should be the same as Tesla owners with a plan and about 25% more without. if you're talking charging speed, it's going to be broadly the same as you'd get on an EA ultra/hyper fast charger (with owners today reporting good peak speeds and decent sustained rates at Tesla superchargers), the main difference of course is that the Tesla charger is almost guaranteed to work whereas the EA chargers range from excellent when they work to horrid when they don't.

Ford supplied adapter is designed and built by Tesla, very surprising.
