Why do they get to have all the fun in Car Chat? I thought it would be fun to have a similar thread over here in EV Chat.

So to start things off, what did you do with/to your EV today?

Lol I thought I was in the wrong section for a second 🤣. Sure, why not. Today I drove my EV (a Tesla Model Y) to the Lucid space at the local mall. Than I test drove a Lucid Air Pure and reviewed it here in the EV section of CL! Oh yeah, I did lie to the Lucid rep and told him I'm in the market for a new car. I feel ashamed 😔

We drove the EQS through a park today and it was a real pleasure. The roads were tight, rough & bumpy but between the air suspension and 10 degrees of rear wheel steering, it really soaked everything up beautifully. The awesome ride quality combined with the rear wheel steering made for a very effortless drive. We even got to do some light off-roading through a bit of mud through some windy sections and again, it was simply effortless.

Here are a couple pics I took of it parked off to the side in some grass, I thought it looked really great. Both out of place and right at home all at the same time

I really think the eqs suv is a home run.
long wheelbase, air suspension and rear steer for the win.

No. I would never consider it the thing is ugly as heck IMO. I have a client with a Model X that thing is a heavy feeling beast, about 5400 pounds I think. It drives super nice but the weight is too much for my liking.

If Cybertruck is around this I'll be disappointed.

It's best to respect others choices of vehicle. As long as he's enjoying it, that's all that really matters. Now I'll just shut up

That’s one of my favorite things about it, it’s a beast. I’m excited to see how much traction I have in the snow this winter

Leave it to Mercedes to put light colored carpeting in the cargo area lol. We had some suitcases back there that left some marks on the backs of the rear seats so I busted out the ShopVac and got to work The marks on the carpeting actually vacuumed up instantly, it was the black marks on the light colored leather and plastics back there that needed a little bit of elbow grease.

Before/After

I figured I'd get the rest of the floor mats while I was at it.

That's a nice interior on your EQS. I really like it.

Thank you! My favorite part is the wood trim with metal inlay. I was happy to find one on the lot with it, some of them are equipped with more plastic-y looking trim like this one:

Nice interior . Now I'm jealous.

My Y has a big screw in the rear tire, so today I'll be trying to get it fixed 😕
