The biggest non change is the fact that it still has a turn signal stalk (for China at least).
I like the light bar. It appears to be indirect too which is interesting. feature. The hatch below it is a flat piece of metal which looks awkward and unfinished.
Good thing you bought the 3! I'm a fan of LED bling if done right.
I'll have to see it person at night before I make any other statements. When I see a light bar in the distance, I don't know if I'm looking at a Charger, a Hyundai, Kia etc. When I see Tesla from a distance, I know right away it's a Tesla and I really like the new tail lights on the model 3. But than again, I'm not buying another car for a long time, so I guess it doesn't really matter

That may be regulatory. I heard Europe might be requiring stalks as well. I heard someone mention this, but can't remember where. Something about lots of roundabouts

Looks like a Tesla to me I get Cybercab vibes. Best thing Tesla did IMO is make the styling simple, attractive and non offensive that's something I've loved about Toyota in the now distant past.

It does look modern and elegant from this view. Almost makes me wish I waited 😭

I also prefer the simple lines and nothing overdone "standard Tesla design language".
This new Y though has a lot of Hyundai Sonata front end similarities.

No way sedans are better.

I see it, but loath the over wrought styling so many auto makers are doing none of these giant "fighter jet" intake accents are necessary. And this Hyundai is reserved compared to some.
So I’m guessing this should see the reintroduction of something like the December incentives to help ensure 3/Y sales don’t fall off a cliff between now and the Juniper Y launch.

Yeah, I was really only referring to the hood treatment. I'm not a fan of all the intakes and needlessly busy bumper either.
What can be more cleaner/simpler and elegant than this? 😀
