Ev cars, Status Lights and Buttons Needed or Not! Poll
Hi friends,
Inspired by another thread, I thought about the idea of accessory buttons and status lights.
Ok, hear me out. Lol
Since there are no physical keys, should the cars have a buttons for accessory mode & drive mode to alert the driver of car's current status?
How about Drive, Reverse, and Park?
I'm talking about separate stand alone buttons and maybe a status lighs too.
I think that would be cool. 😎
What do you think?

I have sat in the seat of myfriends Chevy Ev.
He begged me to drive it for a spin but I didn't.
And, I didn't see how he turned everything on.
I was sitting in driver side and he did something and everything lit up!
Go easy on me ya'll plz, I'm still a noob.lol

Just to let you know @Margate330 that just like regular cars, EV's have status and warning lights. When you step on the brake, the car runs a diagnostics, just like an ICE car. They even have a Check Engine Light of sorts, because EV's have sensors monitoring the electronics, the motors, the High Voltage Battery, the inverters. What if a battery fails or overheats? What if a critical component fails? What if the steering, or braking system fails? I'll post a link to a video shortly to show you it's not that different than a regular car.
The big difference is that they don't need to be started, so they don't need a "Start Button", and EV companies like Tesla, Polestar, Rivian and Lucid have eliminated them...because they are not necessary

Thank you Amirza, much obliged.
Yes, please post the video link and I will check it out.
I try to imagine what the perfect EV would have and should have and then I'd like to compare that to reality. Lol
