Speaking strictly about myself, although I don't track, I am somewhat of an enthusiast, and Tesla's meet one hundred percent of my needs....they are powerful and fast when I need it to be, and have dual use as efficient family haulers at the same time.

No one is asking you like or buy a Tesla, just to think about what you are saying when comparing them to a Camry, as I know several BMW owners (3 series, 5 series and X owners) who jumped ship and bought a Model Y or X and never looked back (I'm not saying one is better than the other as I've never owned a bmw)
My rental Model 3 single motor feels pretty quick but I got dusted by an Accord the other day, not too happy about that. I wasn't expecting that given the feel of the instant torque of the car but it does get off the line a little slow.

Oh yeah, the base model 3 rwd is not fast. It's about V6 Camry fast (only 271 HP). Now the Model 3P is fast, it would best my Polestar. The Model Y Long Range and P is also pretty fast, today I humble a guy in an M3 riding my bumper. His face turned from irritated that I was driving to slow to "what the hell just happened"

I feel like this guy would have road raged on me, he had that young punk chip on his shoulder look. Plus I had stuff in the back from a Costco run. Putting the pedal to the floor was a better ending, especially by the look on his face getting bested by the family wagon

I really wish the front driver instrument panel was an option.

will pray that tax incentive and cali rebate is still in effect next January. Parents retiring and could qualify for $15k worth of rebates.. model 3 for under $25k… yummm

M3 is only 0.2 seconds faster in the 1/4.

If I was an M3 owner and I beat a Model Y LR by 0.2 seconds in the quarter mile, I don't know how I would feel. Not victorious for sure. A $2000 "tune" for the Model Y LR would fix that 0.2 second victory instantly

The power boost especially hits at higher speeds.

Back to Highland it is very likely turn signals will be moved to the steering wheel. No more stalk shifter either. Some images have suggested there is a driver display but that's a guess from blurry images. Come on Tesla get on with it and release this car already.

I don't know how I feel about the removal of the stalks. But I also thought I would never get used to everything being in the screen, but here we are

And they are reliable, street legal vehicles with reliable engines that make great daily drivers, correct? Let's try that again 😁
