Default Carpet

Hey guys listen to this one.

Im sick and tired of seeing my old a#$ carpet in my car, I have a 95ES. So, I call up my local Lexus dealer and I enquire about a new carept. The employee at the parts service tells me a grand for new original carpet. WOW!!

My question is to you guys is this: Can a 95 camry interior carpet fit a 95 es300 interior? and If not a 95camry maybe a 96-97? Help me out guys.

1995 es300 interior specifications
exterior length: 187.8
exterior width: 70.0
exterior height : 53.9

1995 Toyota camry specifications
exterior length:187.8
exterior width: 69.7
exterior height: 55.1

WHAT YOU GUYS THINK?

Cool New Carpet for our Cars???

Sup folks,

First time poster here but anyway let me get to the point...

I have a 93 that we had bought from an auction and it needed a lot of work. So I swapped out the 230k+ mile engine with a fresh JDM 3VZ with only about 60k miles (100k Km) and tranny. (got a front clip from Jarco)

My plans are going to be replacing the front seats that were ripped up and gutted which i'm in the process of doing right now, with some decent ones that i got off ebay. (no rips and leather is in decent condition)

Going to replace shock/springs and give it about a 1" drop, replace lower control arm assemblies both sides along with drive axles, new rotors and pads, clean and salvage my door panels on all 4 doors and i also have a set of used entire doors (panels, switches, windows and all) that i'll be stripping and using what i can to peice together the best door possible.

The only thing I'm having issues right now are trying to find some new carpet for this thing. I'm hoping you guys have some sources you can can point me out to. Interior is beige but i can do gray as well. Tried google-ing it but either out of stock or they dont make it for the Lexus'... I know that we have the same chassis as the Camry's, but wasnt sure if the carpet for a camry would transfer over as well. Anyone know about that?

Also, what steering wheel options do i have? What a freaking crazy project... I'll be repainting it just a straight black to match the black rims and chrome lipped rims i have for it already.

Thanks ahead of time.

this is proving to be tougher than i thought it would be. looks like it might be time to strip the interior and break out the pressure washer. i did find a rpl interior on ebay, but of course, wrong color.

Yeah I tried to search a bit for you too. I found about every kind of floor mat you could want. But nothing for a replacement interior carpet. Not even on JCWhitney, which shocked me.

Do you know if the Camry carpet is significantly different in those years?

Was just doing a bit of googling when I saw this post

Disclaimer - I know nothing about this vendor

just spoke to my Lexus and Toy parts dealers here in Durham. got the PT #'s from Lexus and they DO crossreference with the Camry. so if anyone ever needs the part #s for the Ash Grey interior on a 97 es 300 it is as follows. 5851033340G0. gonna search the sites listed above and see if they can offer a lower price than quoted by Toy and Lex (820.05 list, 574.04 my cost). it seems as they may, just need to ensure that the part#'s are the same. again, thanks for the info all!!! will keep updates as to how this operation may go.
