Default Tire Size Question

The FSport oem size is 235/40/19. I have winter tires from another car that are 245/40/19. Would I be able to use those if I decide to run winter tires?

Tires or wheels/both...such a small difference shouldn't be a issue

If the winter tire is not OEM size, consider going narrower rather than wider tread in the winter application. It will handle snow better.

Got it - after giving it some thought, the tires in question are already five years old anyway so I will probably toss them. I'll run the Michelin OEMs this winter, see how they perform in snow and then make a move next winter if I have to.
