I took my 07 GS350 into the dealer at least a half dozen times over a period of a year, had the dash completely 'rebuilt' 3 times,
and they never did solve the problem. And there were at least a dozen owners on these very forums that had the same experience.
Nope, have not gone into the dealer yet.

I think its a "sticky" issue, because I have a feeling cold temperatures have something to do with it. Some people may never have the issue because its never "too cold". Some people have the issue regardless of temperature. Some have it one and off (like me, I could swear the roof made no noise when we got the car back in August, but I didnt drive it much until October and the noise was there...along with cooler weather)

Even the fix of having the roof replaced...was the original roof *bad* or did the act of replacing it cause the bolts to get tightened correctly and in-order, essentially fixing the problem. From what I can tell, there was no part number change in the pano roof, so Im not sure its like there was a revised part issued.

Interestingly enough, they did have a similar issue on the 2018 IS, that led to updated hardware to hold the pano roof tracks/frame. That updated hardware is the hardware used in the 7th gen ES as well.

Cold Temps certainly had an impact on my 07 GS350 Dash Rattle...... So, I was also leery this past fall when temps began to drop...... I live in Minnesota and temps in the first two weeks of December did not got above freezing during that time. Most were below zero and my ES350 still was rattle/creak free. So, I'm crossing my fingers.

I really think at some point they weren't tightening the bolts to correct torque and/or in correct order. It wasnt an "initial model year" production issue...our car was built on July 30, 2025, so closer to the end of the run but still well after they started.

I may start reaching out to the (few) dealers in my state, to see if they've at least heard of the issue. Im mostly afraid they are going to hose the headliner, which yeah Im sure they will replace with enough prodding, its just the potential frustration and inconvenience of it all.

I bought mine in the 2nd week of June, 2025. --- How do you know when it was built ? --- Is it on the window sticker somewhere?

Date of manufacture is on the Certification label located on the lower rear driver's door frame above the tire pressure label. See page 385 of the 2025 LEXUS ES250, ES350 OWNER'S MANUAL USA AND CANADA ONLY for an illustration of the Certification label location. (The Certification label is where the VIN and VIN bar code are located.)

Ours was a not-yet-built allocation from a remote dealer, my salesman would send me the production status every now and again (it took a couple months).

Eventually sent "the one" where it was being built (7/30 or 7/31 of 2025, I forget which), trucked to them and then they put it on a truck up to me.

Was kinda cool getting a car basically fresh off the line. 3 weeks after it was built, it was in our driveway. 5.something miles on the ODO.

It wasnt a Monday or Friday car, but seems like maybe they forgot to tighten the pano roof bolts
