I think ES350 is a lovely car all round.
I'm from 4GS, so I may have to move down to ES one day, if Lexus doesn't have a GS RWD/AWD EV.
What I don't like about ES?
1) The front overhang is way too long.
It should be a shorter more dynamic front overhang no longer than the Camry.
2) The pinch-tail styling does compromize the depth of the trunk for a slightly smaller trunk volume.
3) With the rear doors really tapering, the rear cabin is a bit narrow.
4) The ES should have front double wishbone suspension to help keep the front tires perpendicular to the road surface to maximize grip.
The MacPherson strut front suspension is more for Camry and Avalon.

The styling issues you've identified have functional reasoning behind them. However, I completely agree with the need for double wishbone suspension in a luxury sedan.Originally Posted by peteharvey
