I'm curious if anyone has tinted the panoramic roof, or if it is even worth it due to potential tint/protective coating from the factory. Not looking to do a crazy tint, something like 70-90%, simply just so I can enjoy the cover being open in the summertime out here in Phoenix and protect the interior/reduce the heat coming through.
I have the base sunroof, I had it tinted 35%, no issues.
I had it tinted even though I’m in Canada and don’t have real heat like you. I just don’t like the glare through the stock lightly tinted glass.
I would recommend you go much darker, more than 50% even. I had all my side and rear glass done at 50% and it’s very subtle.
I definitely plan on doing more on the sides and rear, but with the panoramic, I want to retain the "open air" feeling. I had 70% on my windshield on my previous vehicles and that had all the pros with none of the cons with tinting, so I was thinking that would be ideal, but I'm not sure if Lexus already had that in mind when designing the car.

I do. I think 35%, but can’t remember. Helps with Texas heat and I leave the cover open 98% of the time.
