Introducing the all new 7th Generation ES at the Los Angeles International Auto show WORLD PREMIERE (I think it was the US premiere but world sounds better so I'll go with that).
Taken December 1, 2018.
Little did I know I'd be rockin' this bad boy four calendar years later in 2022.
I wish I had gotten Atomic Silver instead. It certain lights like dynamic lights it looks good. In flat overcast conditions it looks like your grandpa's Ford Taurus beige. But I like it here.

Same here. For a few years I was loosely following the ES and RX on and off but mainly off. One day in 2019 I saw a sharp looking sedan drove by and I had to catch up to take closer look. To my pleasant surprise it was Lexus 7th gen ES and I had to do a double take. It was the first ES that I like and the considered adding it to my shopping list when the time is right. For past few years I was really into German vehicles and was driving an Audi then. COVID sped up the timeline drastically. By the summer of 2020 I was tired of dealing with my Audi vehicle and I wasn't comfortable going into dealership so I had to make a run for the hill due to a number of uncertainties.
I want to have one less thing to worry about and that's having a reliable transportation. I owned many brands over the years but never a Lexus. I figured now it is the time to own one. I crossed out the RX350 for a couple of reasons: 1) don't like the look that much and 2) MPG isn't good as I want. On the back of my mind I wanted something that gets great gas mileage like the Prius but something more roomy and not goofy looking. The ES300h was the one that satisfied all my requirements. I could had bought a new one but opted to get a gently used one fully loaded and saved over $12k off MSRP. Lexus was the first used vehicle I bought in years.
