Has anyone have any issues with their lexus enform remote app, and actually got a resolution with lexus? Ive been getting this message since their last update. Let me know if anyone knows the remedy. Thanks
Sorry it took me so long to reply to your question of me. I was having an issue logging into my phone last night. I'm now on my desktop and here is the information I have for you below. I copied & pasted the results from another thread. I never had an issue with the Enform App doing what you are displaying here. The app would appear to be ready to go, but then would not perform any of the functions such as lock or unlock the doors or start the engine. It would refresh and provide me with a vehicle status such as miles on the odometer and miles to empty on the gas gauge, but that was it.
I took delivery of my ES 350 on 4/20/20. During that process, the salesman had me download the app and helped me activate my account with Lexus. Long story short, it still doesn’t work right. The latest action taken was a firmware update on my DCM, (data communication module yesterday). After waiting the customary 24 hours they state it can take up to for the account to be completely activated, it’s still a no-go. I can do everything on the app except lock and unlock the doors, or start the engine. Each time I try it responds with Request could not be completed, please contact your dealer (42). Nobody seems to know why. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, were you able to get it resolved?
Finally after 5 months of ownership, my dealer resolved the Lexus ENFORM issue and everything now works from the app. It took an email to Lexus Corporate to get someone interested in fixing the issue. The fix involved a couple of firmware updates and ensuring every specific step was followed in the update. In addition to finally fixing the problem, they extended my subscriptions by 6 months, more than making up for the time I’ve been without it.
I do have a copy of the firmware update. You might also check to ensure the software in your vehicle is up to date. It should do so automatically, but things don't always work like they're supposed to as you well know. Good luck on resolving your issue. It's mighty frustrating to pay this much money for a vehicle only to have annoying little issues diminish the value of the car.
We bought our es in September 2020 and I promptly installed the Lexus app on my iPhone. It worked intermittently in my phone and never worked on my Apple Watch. Then I upgraded to a new iPhone 12 pro and works always now. Also works on my Apple Watch. Go figure.
I have the same issue, I tried to install the ne firmware but still can't remote start the car, can you please share with me the versions of the firmware that you used .

Thank you so much, I just came from the dealership and they were able to fix the remote start issue for my 2020 ES 300h, and now I can remote start the car now through the Lexus App, they said the car had the latest DCM firmware already and they just did "remote start communication registration", they weren't able to fix the other issue that I have which is (people can't hear me well when I make calls through Apple Car Play or Bluetooth) , they ordered a new mic for me and I'm waiting to get it replaced and see if that will fix the issue.

My pleasure. Happy to help. Hopefully the remaining issue will be resolved soon.

For the "can't hear me" phone call volume of receiving party issue have you tried adjusting the setting of the Transmit Volume?
From page 244, "Talking on the Bluetooth® hands-free system" section, of the LEXUS 2020 ES350/ES300H FROM OCT. 2019 PROD. NAVIGATION AND MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM OWNER'S MANUAL (pdf version page number will vary for production through Sep 2019 version and other model years' versions):
🄲 Select to adjust your voice volume that the other party hears from their speaker. (→P.246)
and page 246:
Transmit volume setting
1 Select “Transmit Volume” on the sub menu. 2 Select the desired level for the transmit volume. 3 Press the (back arrow icon) button on the Remote Touch to display previous screen.
