After I jumped the car, everything was way out of wack and took almost an entire day to start functioning properly. Very disconcerting for a 2 month old car of any make, thats for sure.

Dealership basically told me a different version of the same thing: that if left in a weak signal area the car can drain itself fast via the remote comms link. 48 hours seems like a very small window but I havent had time this week to circle back with them. I have yet to be able to figure out how to restore my dynamic guidelines.
To get your grid lines back. Start the can. While in park turn steer wheel to left until it locks. Hold for about ten seconds and then do same thing turning whell to right and hold. Put in reverse and should see the grid. It happened to me when I lost power.

Our ESh sat in the garage from December (while we used our SUV in the snowy weather) and January (while we were vacationing in the South) and then at least February as the pandemic started to take hold. We don't use a battery tender but our car is a hybrid which has a little different battery. Anyway, we haven't had any problems and this isn't an unusual idle period for our vehicles (perhaps explains why our 4 year old 2016 only has 16K miles on it...).

Just out of curiosity, do you have your WiFi hotspot enabled on your car? We do not. We decided it just wasn't necessary as we can use the hotspots on our phones already and they have unlimited data. I was just pondering if it could drain the battery faster if enabled. Again, just thinking out loud as to what might be different with your car that could justify faster battery drain. We also keep our cars in a secure/alarmed garage so we don't lock them at home. If the car is locked and "listening" for the arrival of the key it will surely use more battery power.

It may be worth pointing out, there were issues with a few of the last generation of ES vehicles and they had a battery drain problem related to the Network computer. Here is a link to that TSB: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...86305-5448.pdf. Perhaps this is a similar issue? Here is a link to the thread discussing it in the 6th Gen subforum: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...nd-2014-a.html. This may be a similar issue and may only impact a few of the vehicles as was the case with the last generation.
My dealership did not bring up anything regarding the key proximity, by remote communications they were specifically referring to the lexus remote services accessed via the internet/app. I do not have the hotspot services activated.

I have not had the car physically in to the dealer yet but will provide an update on the new battery thread that was started once I do.
