Thanks! That works great. Just what I was looking for.

Glad to hear. I tried setting it to “auto” this evening and I didn’t like it. I didn’t like it popping up at every stop sign and every corner. I will settle for just using the switch as needed.

I have no idea why this is offered only on the luxury models and not on the non-luxury F-sport models.

In the RX450h, you press the button on the lower-left of the dash to turn on the panoramic view monitor, then on the screen, click on Auto. I believe the Auto feature will turn on the bird's eye view (aka panoramic view monitor) when speed drops below a certain speed (around 6 mph). So the bird's eye view automatically comes on when coming to a stop and when parking. Very useful to see curbs and the lines on both sides of parking spots.

Yes, that is the correct procedure for the ES as well. I had originally thought you selected “Auto” when in reverse and the screen was up, but it turned out that Auto option was only available after manually selecting it using the button on the left. Anyway, I didn’t end up liking it coming on every time the car slowed down to 6 mph. Anyway, I should have clarified the exact procedure for selecting the auto mode after trying out on Monday.
