2019 ES350 Garbage Sound System

How to fix or change the cheap and awful sound system in the 2019 ES350? Is the ML upgrade any better? From what I've read online seems like that's no good on this MY either.

All the sound comes from the front speakers only. It's not a setting issue with fade/balance either. Thoughts? Any solutions?

I have the same issue but for me, I don't really listen to music that much while driving. So, doesn't bother me.

However, I did notice in a "Problems and Solutions Thread" someone reported a possible solution.

Hope the person that posted don't mind I copy and paste here....

Problem: Rear passenger speakers not loud enough, unable to fade sound
Solution: Dealer replacing radio amplifier. Part number 86280-06232

Thats info that another person posted online after his fix from his dealer, which boosted the rear speakers volume by about 20%, but Lexus corp has so far denied that a fix exists...

Drop off the vehicle at your nearest car audio shop and give them between $1-3K, pick up the vehicle once ready and drive home happy! :D

Tried that first actually and I assume the pertinent thread got buried in a sea of bad results, many of which were not even about the ES. Got tired if reading pages and pages of irrelevance so I posted...

If people are tired of the subject, they don't have to read it!!!!! View the topic before clicking on it!!! How simple is that?

I am thankful for all the people complaining about the sound system. Keep complaining! Lexus needs to fix it. Some of us have a leased car and cannot modify the system or don't want to.

Now that you have the part number for the new rear amplifier fix, have you asked your dealer to replace yours? If so, what difference did it make?

They told me they are waiting for the part to come in. I will be sure to let everyone know if it works.

How long have you/they been waiting? Is the part on back-order?

My vehicle is leased and I modified it. I have also modified 3 other leased vehicles. Simply removed the modified equipment before you return it... how simple is that?! :slap:

Did anyone go through with the fix referenced? Or is there still no resolution by Lexus? Considering buying this car but can’t get comfortable that this is still an issue with no effort to fix it. Thanks!!
