Garaged - How Long w/o Trickle Charger?
How long have you had your ES garaged without the use of a trickle charger? When we go on long cruises, like 2 to 3 months, we've been hooking up our IS250 to a trickle charger, putting in fuel stabilizer, and bringing up the tire pressure to the maximum on the sidewalls.
Now that we have a new ES, we're assuming that we'll be doing that again for this car in January, whence we'll be taking another 3-month cruise.
So how long have you let your ES sit before the battery runs flat?

Just connect the tender before you go and forget about it. Same as the IS250...

There is no down side to connecting a Battery Tender to the car. Unlike some low quality trickle chargers, Battery Tender products won't overcharge the battery. When they detect that the battery is fully charged, they will stop charging until charging is needed again to maintain a full charge. On the other hand, if you don't connect the car to a Battery Tender, not only do you run the risk of coming home to a car with a dead battery, but there is also potential for shortening the life of the battery if it has been fully drained.
