Default Tow Hook Location

I was wondering if anyone could point out where the tow hook location is on the front bumper? I'd like to move the license plate to the side instead of the center but can't seem to find where the tow hook is. I have the F-Sport if that matters.

That's interesting. The manual shows the two "eyelet covers" on a non-F front grille. So where are the F Sport connections? The manual also states "if equipped."

PS- It's a Lexus, never would need towing.

I thought that the towing hook cover only came on Japan built ES 350's. My 2016 built in Japan had the towing hook and an access cover but my KY built 2018 came with the towing hook but no apparent access cover so I removed the towing hook - towing with the towing hook would not really be a good idea anyway. I remember several years ago when they first started building Camry's in KY and both were on dealer lots you could tell the Japan built cars by the prescience of the towing hook cover.

i know this is an old thread but i wanted to bring it up instead of starting a new one.

i cant find the tow hook location on my 2021 es250
IT is just like the above picture a few posts up no areas on the bumper to pop out for a tow hook
and i dont see anyting like what my 2016 ES300h had where a part of the grill popps out to attach tow hook
so wondering if the 2021 ES 250 does not have a tow hook ?
or have i just not found it out.

no i cant go out and look right now im sitting at home sick and just thinking of a few things to keep my mind occupied while im stuck home waiting on my covid results
so figured is ask this question
thanks
any info on this would be great

I haven't seen or heard of any US built ES having the towing eyelet feature.

I don't know if all non-US sold ESs (i.e.,non US builds for the international non US market) have the towing eyelet feature but if you look at the marketing photos for the Australia sold ES, Singapore sold ES or the UK sold ES you can clearly see the rhomboid shaped removable panels that you would remove to gain access to the threaded towing eyelet attachment points.

P.S. For those of you complaining about US ES sales prices, take a look at what the poor souls in Singapore are paying for a non-AWD four banger ES 250 - starts at S$270,800 which is US $199,572.56 at today's exchange rate and that's for the least expensive model sold.

Good because I really don't want to see license plates mounted on the side..
