Default 2019 ES 350 Illuminated Trunk Sill Install

Has anybody installed the illuminated trunk sill on their 2019 ES 350? Would be curious to see if it was as easy as installing the illuminated door sills. I’m a basic DIY’er, but want to know what challenges I may encounter before I make the commitment and purchase. If anyone has the 2019 installation instructions for the trunk sill, that would be even better!
Thanks,

Looks fairly straightforward in the install process. Thank you for sharing.

I like how the left side sill has the manufacturer, and the right side sill the model.

Looks good.

That's what people are paying $450 for?

It doesn't have to be that much.

1) The $450 is MSRP. But it can be negotiated. When I got my 2018 ES, I had the glass break sensor, and illuminated door sills added. But I paid less than MSRP for those late additions.

2) If you get it from Lexus Parts Now, and plan to install it yourself (like the OP), it's ~ $300.

Overall, this is one of those things that some people will think it's worth it, and others won't.

Quick Question...the link posted says "Number Of Pieces : 1". Does that mean $310.00 for 2 lights on a single bar?

I don't know. Best to call and ask.

Or, call a Lexus dealer and ask for the parts department. They usually know.
