I was at the local Lexus dealership yesterday having my car serviced so I took a look around the showroom. They had a 2019 ES 350 F Sport black with black interior and all I can say is WOW. Such a beautiful car, especially with the F Sport wheels. It really is an impressive evolution in this gen. Don’t tell my fellow LS owners, but for a split second I thought it was the new LS from the side.

Yes, the shape of the new ES is very similar to that of the new LS from multiple angles. My local dealership had the two (both white) parked side by side on the showroom floor and it was difficult to differentiate. The LS hood is longer.

Lexus of ABQ had a new ES the same color as mine and pulled it up for me when I was dropping mine off for service today.

It was a base model with no options.

The interior seemed cheap-looking.

I recently sat in a Luxury trim ES350 and thought overall it was OK. I wasn't wow'ed but will be taking a closer and longer look at the new gen in the near future. With the ES350 UL listing at around $52k nicely equipped there are some other competitive models in that ballpark to look at. It will interesting shopping. Even with all of the focus on CUV's and SUV's Lexus will have a hit on their hands with the new
ES.

Cheap looking compared to what? Base model is NuLuxe so not real leather - what else was cheap looking about it?

Actually, I think that Nuluxe looks as good as leather on a Lexus...

Cheap materials inside the cabin, not just the seats.

I have a 2017 ES 350 UL.

Let me try to upload the pic again.
