Hi friends...Just curious if any one has install instructions for 2024 ES 350 Body Side Molding. I have seen one for 2019 ES 350 and not sure if there are updated instructions for 2024 year.

 

I got mine by calling the parts dept. of the dealer where I bought the car and they just sent it to me as a PDF free of charge. Give it a shot... Most they can say is "no"... GOOD LUCK!

 

I used this for my '23 ES-300h. Hope helps.

Edit: Make sure you deeply clean the area before placing the moldings to remove any wax, dirt & oils. Rubbing alcohol works to prepare the area once cleaned. Be careful placing them as the moldings adhesive is very strong.

 

Thanks, I saw this PDF and the height of 277 mm seems bit low and wanted to increase it to 287 mm (just a cm). I stuck it with painters tape and look ok but nervous about not going with install instructions height. Any thoughts?

 

Looks to me that the 277 mm height puts the center of the molding right about where the door's sheet metal curvature is at the furthest outward point. It would take a close examination of the actual molding pieces but it may be the moldings' molding-to-door surfaces are formed to closely match the door contour at that height.

 

Thanks, The dealer also sent me the same 2019+ instructions and mentioned that they work for all ES from 2019 to 2024.

 

This is how it looks following Lexus install documentation, looks slightly bent at rear door. Any thoughts?

 

"Looks slightly bent" may be a visual artifact of the placement of the camera and light source. Take your ES outside in bright sunlight to eliminate the point light source shadowing/shading and where you and the camera can be positioned perpendicular to the side of the vehicle at a distance to easily observe the whole side of the vehicle.

 

I think the rear door is curved that's why I feel little bent if I am looking on top of it. How did this install come out :-) If it is wrong I can take it off as well.

Looks perfect to me. I don't have these but do have the silver moldings. I feel If I add this to mine, I'm adding more moldings that what it should be
