Does anyone have a suggestion for a good screen "protector" that eliminates or reduces the fingerprints smudges left behind when you touch the infotainment screen?

You can use matte one, but the clock will look blurry.

interesting, that the clock would be blurry but the rest of the screen is not?

Matte finish affects clarity over whole screen

Ok as I would expect.

It's interesting because the infotainment screen in my F150 is not as susceptible to fingerprints (and I dont have any protective cover on it).

I found one on amazon that advertises as "glossy" finish (I take that to mean not "Matte").... it specifically advertises to be anti-glare, UV filtering, auto-absorbing, keep your navigation screen free from dust, scratches, oil, water and fingerprints etc.
For $13 I'm gonna give it a try (I'll report back), it looks like it may be "statically" applied (not glued)...we shall see.

Just keep a microfiber cloth in the glove compartment.

I do that now, but this screen seems to be a magnet for finger prints.

Actually not, the screen is still crisp and clear.

Putting a sheet of plastic on top of your screen will protect it from fingerprints, but only because you now have a sheet of plastic covered with fingerprints.

I so love the touchpad on my 2021. My info screen is as pristine as the day my car was delivered!

You don’t see fingerprints on a matte sheet of plastic.

Couldn't agree more.
I have touchscreen+ touchpad. I thought I would never need the touchpad but I find it is a lot safer to use it as I used it more.
I am used to the touchpad now that I never use the touchscreen & my touchscreen thanks me. One less thing to clean in the interior

My ES doesn't have the touchscreen but my wife's new RX does. I use the microfiber cloth once a week and it's all good.

Microfiber cloth damped with pure/distilled water does the job.

Keep a MF towel in the car. I wipe the screen down with a spray of ceramic detail spray. Not anti-fingerprint but greatly reduces it.
