Is the seat memory 1/2/3 lost if battery is disconnected?
If I enable easy exit, will it wear out the mechanism quicker?
I had a look at the complete seat base replacement and oh boy, they are expensive...

My 2020 ES300h does not loose seat memory as I have disconnected at least 6 times.
That's how I thought it should be..
It takes a while to set those seat memories for different people.
Good to know! I won't worry about disconnecting the battery.

My battery was disconnected for a good 2 hours the other weekend and I did not lose the memory seats. I did lose the reverse yellow lines but was able to resolve it by this post
I disabled my "easy entry" seat and steering wheel and don't miss them at all. Actually prefer it this way. It was kind of a pain waiting for it to do it's thing every time, really.

I hate easy exit seat but like the wheel to retract.
That's exactly how I feel.
I don't know how seat being retracted makes it any "easy".
The wheel to retract is a different story though.
My legs hit the wheel if it is down too much so easy exit pulling wheel out of the way helps a little.

Perhaps it’s “easy” if you’re, ahem,. a person of size. I don’t use it either because it is too low and far back, making entry actually less comfortable, plus having to wait for it to get back to the saved position. I do use the wheel tilt, however.
Do these automatic mechanisms wear out quicker if the easy exit is enabled?
I am sure it would cost a small fortune to replace that steering wheel moving mechanism.
But then I see cars(Lexus) almost 20 years old & their wheel retracting is still working...

Disconnected the battery today (around 15 minutes) to see if the seat memory is lost.
It was fine when I reconnected the battery.
I had 2 out of the 3 were programmed and they both worked.
