I have a 2023 ES300H and when I play music through android auto/amazon music app, it doesn't play right away. The music plays but no sound, so I have to pause it then hit play again, then it works? Anyone else have this problem. I hate to bug the dealership if its operator error. Its just really annoying.

 

Clear the cache of your Android Auto app in your phone. If that doesn't work, then clear the data of the app and see if that solves the issue. I haven't ran into that issue with playback in my 22'

 

This started happening to me recently. I think it may have been an update to android auto, I have been using it without issue since March and in the past week I have the no audio or a delayed audio problem 3 times.

 

Test with YouTube Music and see if you have the same issue. Since Google updates AA, it may be a quirk with the Amazon app or AA in general. I know for a few weeks/months, my cursor would disappear entirely unless I hit back, which prevented me from hitting some pop ups. Fixed itself silently one day. Check general AA forums too.

FYI, sporting a '21 L with the AA Wireless adapter.

 

When did it start happening? There was an AA update on December 1.
I've heard so many people having problems with Android Auto that I turned off updates when it started working in November.
