With my original U2-X (not Pro) on my 2019 ES, I have to flick left or right to move between "zones" (like the icons or map) and up and down to move within a zone.

 

Looks like the different interfaces use the trackpad differently

 

From the posts regarding AA attachments, it looks like most have some negative aspect to them that just doesn't interface correctly with our 2019 ES cars. Guess there's nothing like the real thing. I was in Australia last November and stopped at a dealer and asked about Lexus retrofitting the ES cars with AA over there. He said it was done for a charge and simply integrated into the existing system. Too bad you can't just buy some software or attachment and do it yourself. I know that in Spain it was done for free and took an hour... Lexus refuses to update the U.S. cars...

 

Just remember with the AA you don't get full screen maps and limited to apps. My 2020 has AA integrated but the device I use turns the whole screen into an android tablet and although the touchscreen would make it easier it is usable the way it is with any android app I want.
