Weird Android Auto behavior in 2022 ES350
Has anyone had this happen while using Android Auto using a Samsung S21 Ultra? Whenever I plug it in and I start listening to a Youtube video and raise the volume, the video will stop and Youtube Music will start playing. It makes adjusting the volume while listening to a Youtube video impossible. I suspect the default music player is taking over whenever the volume is adjusted, but I've tried changing the default player and many other settings and no fix yet. This behavior doesn't happen with my wife's Iphone. Not sure if this is a AA problem or Samsung problem either.

I had been keeping the YouTube Music app on the same version while I updated all other apps to the latest version including Youtube video. After I updated Youtube Music app to the latest version, it is now behaving correctly. Are all your apps updated to their latest versions?
I’ll try to see if I can recreate the behavior you’re seeing next time I drive and report back.
Thanks. I tried updating all my apps and still have the same problem. I googled this problem some more and it seems this bug happens with different phone and car manufacturers all running Android Auto. Unfortunately there hasn't been a fix since the first report I found over a year ago. Still more things pushing me to the Iphone side of things...
