Default Left Control Arm and Strut Replacement

I hit the curb and the car was heavily pulling to the left. Took the car to Midas and they're quoting $1800 for new strut and control arm replacement. Did I overpay? I'm looking online and prices are quoted a lot cheaper. Also, for newer Lexus, I'm assuming OEM parts are more expensive to obtain. Also does long-term ride quality get affected as a result of this accident?

I would use only Lexus parts given how new the car is. Can’t you make an insurance claim and get it fixed right?

If your strut is not OEM say goodbye to the wonderful ES ride.
