From what I understand, the car will start with FOB or the Enform app, sowhy use both?

Good point. This is why I stopped paying $80.00 a year for the smartphone method...

Many other functions from the app, location, remote start from anywhere etc. It's worth $80 to me but perhaps not others.

Yeah it is worth to me as well. The range of fob is not good compare to other manufacturers. The remote start feature on the fob is only free for 3 years for model year 2020+. From a security perspective using the app is more secure than the key fob.

Thanks guys, I should have realized that nothing in live is free. There's always some kind of catch. First, they give you the candy to get you hooked, then it's taken away.
Now I understand why you want to use the FOB. Other than the convenience of the remote start, do the benefits of the 3 year subscription make it worthwhile to renew on a annual basis??

**NOTE** I haven't taken delivery of my new ES 350, it willi take 6 to 8 weeks before the big day comes.

I do annually as it saves a few bucks. Mainly I do it out of convenient. I don't know if they fixed the auto renewal process yet but it didn't work for me even though I have a working credit card on file. One time I purchased an additional year and I had to go through the activation process again. It is sort of a pita as you can lose service for up to 24 hours.

It's not as bad as being 24 hours without a cold beer!

This one perhaps I'll hang on to a bit longer since so far it's been so trouble free and other than the jerky trans, I still enjoy the ride. But you know the temptation when something new comes along. I WANT IT!

I kept my 4ES for 15 years because I didn't like the 5ES or the 6ES and didn't see anything else out there I wanted. As soon as I test drove of the 7ES, I decided to get it
