Iphone/ carplay.
I don't see why it wouldn't. You can also use your new phone as a hot spot for your old phone.
You can (apparently) also use your car to connect to your phone via car 5G. I attempted to set this up the other day but I didn't want to mess with it while driving. A pop up appeared on my phone asking me to sign up. Is it a free trial? Still not sure why I would want to use it if I already have 5G service on my phone via my carrier. Maybe it's for passengers? But wouldn't they have 5G already.

I’m sure it will. E46CT makes a good point. You could use your new device as a hotspot for the old deactivated device. I’m assuming you moved to an Android phone or you would have just connected the new iPhone to CarPlay?
