Anyone have info or know how to remove the chrome trim around the driver and passenger side windows?

 

Pretty sure it's like any other car just lifts straight up. That's how it was on my 3IS. Start at the door end, use plastic pry tools. Tape paint to protect it. gently lift evenly. Research repair manual if needed.

 

Curious as to why you would even need to remove the trim?

 

I am sure the chrome trim became dented. They dent very easy. Mine was dented by rocks chips. I had to have mine replaced.

I wrap vehicles for a living so I just ordered some "Chrome Delete" 2" wide gloss black from my supplier. All yo do is cover chrome with this wrap material and CAREFULLY trim behind face of trim not cutting into rubber with an industrial blade. Take your time and make sure any seams are pointed downward. I will complete this week and post images.

 

I ended up not removing the trim, other than the end caps at the rear panel and doing the smoke chrome conversion myself.
